Week 1
This week I watched a movie called "The Hangover". It is about 4 friends, Doug, Stu, Phil and Alan. They go to Las Vegas to celebrate Doug's marriage. They have a good time and get very drunk. The next day they can't remember anything that occured last night and their friend Doug, was missing. They search all over Las Vegas for him and they can't find him. They found out of all the crazy things they did last night, such as stealing Mike Tyson's Tiger and stealing a Cop car. Finally, they find him in the roof of their hotel and head quickly to the wedding. This is a very funny movie, especially Alan, who makes me laugh for everything he did or said. This movie is one of my favorites since it made me laugh alot.
Week 2
This week was the beginning of the Fifa World Cup South Africa 2010. I was really exited because Honduras would participate in it. After watching the World Cup Inaugration, I saw the first game, South Africa, the host nation, versus Mexico. The first half ended 0-0, even though Mexico played well and was very close to scoring a goal. At the second half, Siphiwe Thabalala scored the first goal for South Africa, and the first goal of the Fifa World Cup 2010. I was really exited because i did not want Mexico to win. A few minutes later, Rafael Marquez scored a goal for Mexico. Souh Africa had alot of opportunities to score another goal. At the end the game finished 1-1. It was a really exiting game.
Week 3
This week Honduras played again in the World Cup since 28 years. Honduras played against Chile. The game was won by Chile 1-0. The goal was scored by Jean Beausejour. Chile played better than Honduras and deserved to win. Even though Honduras lost, i am proud that we participated in this World Cup. The Next game was against Spain. The favorite team to win this game was obviously Spain, because of their excellent players. The game ended 2-0 in favor of Spain. The 2 goals were scored by David Villa. After this loss Honduras was practically eliminated from the World Cup. Even though we have a few chances of qualifying. Even though we lost i am still happy that Hpnduras played in a World Cup after 28 years of not participating.
Week 4
This week it was Honduras last game in the World Cup since we were practically eliminated. Honduras tied 0-0 against Switzerland. Honduras played way much better than the last 2 games, having many opportunities of scoring a goal and win the game. At the end, Honduras was eliminated and Spain and Chile qualified to the next round. Even though, i am proud that my country made it to the World Cup and was one of the best 32 teams of the world. Noel Valladares, the Honduran goalkeeper, did an excellent job and prevented us from receiving more goals. I was sad that we were eliminated but happy as well, since we participated in the world cup.
Week 5
This week Argentina and Germany faced in the quarter finals of the world cup. Argentina was favorite to win the game since they have high quality players such as Lionel Messi, who is considered by many, the best player of the world at this moment. The winner of this game wuld go on to the semi finals and have a chance of going to the finals and win the fifa world cup. At the end, Germany suprised everyone by humiliating Argentina and beating them 4-0. The goals were scored by Thomas Muller, Miroslav Klose (2), and Arnie Friedrich. Argentina coach and soccer legend, Diego Maradona was shocked and humiliated by this defeat. Germany will go on and face the winner of paraguay vs. spain in the semifinals and have a shote at becoming world champions. It was an excellent game played by Germany. I enjoyed this game alot.
Week 6
This week was the moment we have all been waiting for, the Fifa World Cup final. Netherlands beat 3-2 Uruguay and became the first team to qualify to the final. Next, Spain would beat Germany 1-0, becoming the second team to qualify to the world cup final. Germany would beat Uruguay for the 3rd place. At the final game, Spain beat Netherlands 1-0, with a late goal scored by Andres Iniesta. It was an excellent goal almost at the end of over time. It was a tense and exciting game, the game ended 0-0. The game prolonged an extra 30 minutes since both teams tied in regular time. At the second half of over time, Andres Iniesta scored a goal for Spain just before the game ended. Spain became World Champions for the first time. Even though Spain deserved to win because they played better, Netherlands had many opportunities of scoring a goal. Spain was a rightful winner for all the hard work in the World Cup. it was an exciting game.
Week 7
This week i went to see Toy Story 3 in 3d. In this movie, Andy is going to college and now he never uses his favorite toys he used as a kid. All the toys are sad and depressed. At the end, they are accidentaly donated. Andy was angry that they were donated because he planned to store them since they were his favorite toysThe toys meet many mean toys that make them suffer. The toys have to escape before Andy goes to college. They find a way to leave the place and go back to Andy. Finally, donates the toys to a little girl who loves toys and treats them good, since Andy is going to college. I did not like this movie alot because i prefer funnier movies. Even though it was interesting.
Week 8
This week i saw a movie i have seen many times, but is an excellent movie. The movie i saw is Blood Diamond. The movie is about an african father named, Salomon, who is kidnapped by the african revolution and is forced to work and find diamonds. These diamonds were used by the revolution to purchase illegal weapons. Solomon finds a large pink diamond and digs it up. He escapes the revolution. Solomon's son named, Dia, is kidnapped by the revolution as well, but he is used as a child soldier. Solomon meets an arms dealer named Danny, and they want to find the pink diamond. Solomon finds out that his son was kidnapped so Danny will help him get his son and he will give him the diamond. Finally, Solomon finds his son and the diamond as well. Danny and solomon had to climb a large hill to get on the plane that would take them home. On the way to the cliff Danny is shot and can't continue. He dies there and Solomon and his son go to London to sell the diamond. Maddy, a journalist against Blood Diamonds, helps him sell the stone and get reunited with his family. Maddy as well, gets proof that the diamonds sold by a famous jewelry company came from conflict zones in Africa. It was a great movie.

Week 1
